BREAKING: Thailand just launched AIRSTRIKES on Cambodia — Trump-brokered ceasefire SHATTERED in hours!

Thailand launched airstrikes against Cambodia on Monday, escalating a border conflict that threatens the ceasefire agreement brokered by U.S. President Donald Trump. The airstrikes targeted Cambodian military infrastructure in retaliation for an attack that killed a Thai soldier and injured seven others.

“Thailand will continue military action until its sovereignty is not compromised,” said Thailand’s foreign ministry spokesperson Nikorndej Balankura.

The flare-up comes just weeks after an expanded ceasefire agreement was signed in late October, which Trump had hailed as a diplomatic victory. However, the deal began to unravel soon after, with Thailand halting progress on the agreement following a landmine explosion that injured several soldiers.

The renewed fighting risks undermining the fragile peace process.

Reports from both sides have diverged, with Thailand accusing Cambodia of provoking the attack, while Cambodia denied the allegations, instead accusing Thai forces of initiating hostilities. At least four Cambodian civilians have been killed, and tens of thousands have been displaced.

Malaysia, ASEAN, and international stakeholders have expressed concern over the violence. Critics worry the ceasefire agreement, which had brought months of stability, is now in jeopardy.
