Karoline Leavitt makes big demand on Trump assassination attempt amid ‘crying’ confession

Karoline Leavitt is putting her emotions aside and doing what she does best, as she vowed to get answers for the nation when it comes to Donald Trump’s assasination atempt

The American people deserve answers about what drove Thomas Crooks to attempt to assassinate Donald Trump, and Karoline Leavitt is the woman who has vowed to bring them.

The 28-year-old White House Press Secretary, who shared a handful of cryptic posts over the weekend, made an appearance on The New York Post’s podcast, Pod Force One, to seemingly address the damning report that emerged suggesting the 20-year-old gunman left a trail of digital clues the FBI did not previously share with the public.

“Those questions are definitely deserving of answers, and I understand why the public wants those answers, and I believe the president does too,” Karoline boldly declared.

“It’s a good question, and it’s one I’d like to see the answer to — and I think all Americans would,” she added. The mom-of-one’s comments came as the outlet dropped a bombshell report exposing newly unearthed social media posts that appear to show Crooks openly supporting political assassinations, ranting against Trump and using they/them pronouns online.

Crooks’ motive is just one of the many unanswered questions that remain in the 16 months since the attempt on Trump’s life, which left one beloved firefighter dead and two Trump supporters critically injured.

It comes just days after Karoline took to Instagram to post a handful of stories with her 2.6 million followers, giving them an insight into her weekend trip to Palm Beach.

She revealed “the ocean is my happy place” alongside a clip of her driving by the coast. She then posted a snap of her breakfast at the Four Seasons Hotel in Palm Beach, which can set vacationers back up to a whopping $2,781 a night.

“Favorite breakfast spot with my hubs,” Karoline then penned atop another upload that featured a bowl of granola, fruit, bacon, and an egg bagel and also referring to her husband, Nicholas Riccio, who is 32 years older than her

Things then appeared to take a rather emotional turn, as later in the day she posted a picture of a page from the Bible, pointing at the quote, “For when I am weak, then I am strong,” which she also underlined with a red line.

Karoline’s cryptic posts didn’t end there as she shared another quote, which read, “What a privilege it is to have your bed taken up by a small human who thinks it’s the safest place in the world to be,” and penned “crying” over the top of it.

The press secretary shares a little boy called Niko with her husband, whom they welcomed on July 10, 2024. She announced the birth on Instagram shortly after, calling it “the best moment of my life.”

Karoline’s posts come weeks after Christine Schneider, Clinical Psychologist at Cambridge Therapy Centre, gave the Mirror US an insight into how the 28-year-old is coping working alongside President Trump.

Christine began, “Working as a Press Secretary means living under constant pressure. Every word, every facial expression, and every pause is dissected by the media and the public,” before adding, “That level of exposure can be incredibly demanding mentally.”

“Someone in Karoline Leavitt’s position likely faces chronic stress, anxiety around public performance, and exhaustion from the nonstop pace of her role,” the expert warned. “There’s often a need to stay composed no matter what’s happening behind the scenes, and that emotional control, while impressive, can come at a cost.”

“It’s what psychologists sometimes refer to as emotional labor: the effort of managing one’s feelings to maintain a professional image. Over time, it can lead to burnout, irritability, and difficulty switching off after work,” she concluded.
