Tesla CEO Elon Musk could receive the biggest paycheck of all time and Billie Eilish has something to say about it

After Billie Eilish publicly called out billionaires in front of Mark Zuckerberg, she’s now coming for Elon Musk with a savage Instagram post.
Last week, the Tesla board agreed a trillion dollar pay deal for the tech CEO as an incentive for him to meet their expansion aims, potentially creating the first person in the world to have a 13-figure net worth.
But when you accrue more money than any person in all of human history, it is probably fair to ask what good deeds you’re going to achieve with all that wealth.
At least, that is what Billie Eilish asked yesterday, sharing a graphic from MyVoiceMyChoice that shows how Musk would barely have to make a dent in his 13-figure payout to put an end to some of the greatest evils in our world.
The 23-year-old, who is said to be worth around $53 million, previously hit out at billionaires last month at the Wall Street Journal’s 2025 Innovator Awards.
In audience which included Mark Zuckerberg, who is worth around $203 billion, she said: “I love you all, but there’s a few people in here that have a lot more money than me and if you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire?
“Give your money away, shorties.”
Putting her money where her mouth is, she donated $11.5 million in earnings from her recent tour to help tackle the climate crisis and food shortages.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Zuckerberg and his wife said the couple have donated ‘more than $7 billion to various causes and have pledged to donate 99 percent of their Meta shares to philanthropy over their lifetime’.
Now Eilish has singled out Elon Musk, calling him a ‘f**king pathetic p**sy b***h coward’.
Shared to her Instagram story, the graphic spells out how the Tesla and X CEO could end world hunger if he shelled out $40 billion per year for the rest of the decade, or drop $140 billion for seven years so that every soul on Earth can have clean water.
But if world hunger does not concern Musk, he could instead eradicate diseases like polio, tetanus, and measles, with a $10 billion per year program to vaccinate 140 million babies per year.
Although, the South African mega-billionaire might not feel much for his fellow man, in which case he could bring scores of species back from the brink by spending just $2 billion a year to make the 10,443 critically endangered species just endangered.
In the final post to her story, Eilish showed that Musk’s huge pay deal could essentially repair the many parts of the world that have been systematically destroyed over the past decade, rebuilding Gaza and the West Bank for upwards of $53 billion.
Meanwhile, he could spend the rest on the reconstruction of Ukraine and Syria for a whopping $793 billion, and still be among the wealthiest individuals in the world.
Records show that Musk has donated billions to charitable causes, and he runs his own charitable organization the Musk Foundation.
However, a New York Times report in 2024 found that the foundation did not meet its tax requirement to give away five percent of its assets every year for three years in a row.
After Eilish shared the graphic with her 124 million followers, some of them chimed in to praise the singer, saying they ‘love when Billie speaks up.’
Many shared some of her previous words on the super-wealthy, quoting her as saying: “If you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire?”
